Born in Brentwood in Essex, way back in Nineteen Hundred and Frozen to Death. The only son of an English Father and an East African born German Mother. Father of 5, Step-father to 2, Grandfather to 12. Retired, and Living in Bexhill-on-sea in the 1066 county of East Sussex on the South coast of England. I joined the British Army as a boy-entrant in 1961, serving in a number of countries around the world, picking up some strange habits along the way, including ‘people watching’ which has become an invaluable aid in character creation. Over the years I have developed a deep interest in the pantheon of Egyptian Gods and their followers. In 2005 and 2009 I visited Luxor in Egypt. I was most intrigued by the wall paintings in the tombs in the valley of Kings, which depicted the buried dignity, and his interactions with the Ancient Gods. – The Gods were painted to be much larger than the general populous which led me to consider that they were not of this earth, that they were visitors from the stars, -- Aliens, -- Giants, -- The Watchers.

As a book author, she has published 10 adult non-fiction books, two youth books and five children's storybooks. She is the winner of the First Time Writers and Illustrators Publishing Initiative 2009 and the Scholastic Asian Book Award 2012; her book Grandma's Eightieth Birthday was part of a kit that won Dr Toy's 100 Best Children's Products 2013. Pauline graduated from Singapore Chinese Girls' School, Raffles Junior College and National University of Singapore.

Bob graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in English. Dreams, Generosity, Adventure, and Cheese

The Boy and the Traveling Cheese by Junia Wonders is a story in picture-book form about a boy who wants to eat well so he can grow up big and strong in order to have adventures like bigger people have. A special gift from his grandfather helps him learn generosity, sharing, and other things along the way! Does the fulfillment of his dreams really depend on eating and growing, or is it something else? A fun and encouraging story for small children delightfully illustrated by Devin Meir.

The title of this book and the bright illustration on the cover attracted me to it. I had never heard of the author or illustrator before, but now I will look for other books by them to read to my grandchildren!

My little one really enjoyed the story. It is perfect for a toddler, he enjoyed the pictures. Some of the words were a little big for him, but I explained them and he still enjoyed the story.

A Stand Out Series

I have really enjoyed Mr. Chesser's series so far (finished book 3).

There are some things that really stand out that make this different than many of the books out there. First, Mr. Chesser can write intelligently about the things that are happening, or exist, in his stories. Prime examples are his understanding of firearms and military equipment. I don't know if this is through personal experience, or through research, but too often you see minor giveaways in this genre that take away from the believability (such as a military person referring to a magazine as a "clip").

Second, he takes the time to develop charactors who he has every intention of killing off ASAP. This means, not every major charactor survives, and that is what we expect from a zom-poc.

There was only one thing that had me thinking..."Oh, come on...", but that happened in book 2, so I'll not bring it up here.

It's a must read!

Good read.

This was a good read especially for the price. I thought it was well written. This appears to be his first novel, but you wouldn't know that from reading the book. I didn't see any inaccuracies or anything that required me to suspend reality with the exception of people rising from the dead. But that is to be expected from the title of the book. If you like the zombie and/or the post apocalypse genre, you will like this book.

Great read, the apocalypse is in rare form!

Awesome read, can't get enough of the Delta Tier 1 operators, or the Omega infected populace. Strikes a nice balance between heavy action and thoughtful introspection. Great read!
