Bob graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in English. While at school, he began working on the campus ambulance service and also spent several years working in the operating room of a hospital, which developed a basic medical background for him. Naturally, with an English degree and medical experience, the majority of his professional career has been spent in other fields. In March of 2003, Bob brought his writing efforts to the web with his own site, In My Backpack. (www.inmybackpack.com) Over the years, the site has included general interest, sports and travel material, specialized writing such as movie reviews, and also has captured the flavors-of-the-day in an on-going journal entry segment. Bob considers himself “a writer with a camera,” though the concept hasn’t prevented him from creating a sizeable portfolio of professional work. On his web site, photo galleries exist for several entertainers, as well as a feature on the touring exhibit of Diana: A Celebration. His photographs have been used by groups such as Legends in Concert. In 2012, Bob released Time Just Drifts Away, a collection of essays and interviews collected from his web site. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Bob currently lives in Connecticut with his wife, Terry, and their two St. Bernards, Molly and Gus.

We, parents think first the safety of our babies. In fact, most of our thought is how to make them comfortable while traveling. Too good I found this book online and purchased it right away. I’ve learned so many things about different way of the safety of our baby. Must read it too, to gain some information that you can apply in your daily routine. This book I recommend to all parents out there, to be more aware and careful always. Start reading now and secured your baby safety forever. Have a happy trip always.

Raising a baby is challenging but the author gave me the reinsurance that spontaneity is not something of the past, but rather a great adventure that awaits once we are prepaid well. Going on the road in and travelling with a baby in a RV can be fun and well structured. The books is filled with great tips on how to make it work and enjoying it travelling with a baby. From baby proofing to emergency guides the book gives you will need to be prepared and travel stress free.

We have an RV and we travel a lot using it but soon, we're going to have a baby and we were kind of worried it might not be the best idea to use it during travels because of the baby. Good thing I got this book to aid our dilemma. Luckily, this book suggested solid ways on how we could childproof our RV. We're starting customizing our RV now and we're very excited to travel with the new addition to our family.

Lynn Johnston was born in Collingwood, Ontario, and grew up in British Columbia. Today, she lives in Corbeil, Ontario. Johnston is the first woman to receive a Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year from the National Cartoonists Society in 1986. She has also received the Order of Canada and claims a star on Canada's Walk of Fame.

There is nothing wrong with the content of this book and the 3rd Treasury which preceded it. "For Better or For Worse" is a classic comic strip and Lynn Johnston's comments on what inspired many of the jokes and storylines are well worth paying again to see material that was originally published several decades ago.
However, the complaint is that there is not enough of it for the price you have to pay. The 1st and 2nd Treasuries contained 418 pages each for a list price of $26. The 3rd and 4th Treasuries have 208 pages each and sell for $22. This means that when you buy the newest Treasuries you are now only getting 50% of the material you used to get for a price that is 88% of the old one!
In an introduction to this volume, Lynn makes the ridiculous claim that this is due to the advent of electronic versions of books.
Come on, Lynn! I can see how this might justify the abandonment of the print versions of these collection altogether, but how does it argue for producing smaller but more expensive print editions? This reminds me the early 70s when businesses could justify any kind of price increases by blaming the Arab oil embargo whether there was any actual cause and effect at all!
I think the publisher just decided that the new smaller and more expensive versions of the Treasuries were preferable because they could come out more often and still not get too far ahead of the current re-running of the strips in newspapers and online. And of course, the profit would be higher per book, since the readers would be getting less for their money.

All my family love Lynn Johnston's books and we collected most of them. I was very happy to see them offered on Amazon as I did not see these books at Barnes & Noble bookstores.

I always enjoyed For Better or For Worse when it was in the papers. The 4th Treasury is so much fun to read and so true to life! I recommend it highly.
