5Great Road Trip Book
By Matthew Jordon
If you love the great outdoors and fun stops along the way, check out this book. I've used my old edition for years now and I'm always impressed with the suggestions and information it provides. It truly enhances my travel experience both personally and professionally as I also work as an outdoor guide. I highly recommend it because it has a great layout that's easy to follow - the different regions of CA are split up properly and there is lots of interesting history mixed in too. In my opinion, it's way better than Lonely Planet or Moon Guides.

Love the rough guides. Complete, updated, never fail to tell you exactly what you should see and do. Photos and maps are also well researched. I used to use Lonely Planet but I am happy I switched!
