A memoir of Charley Fox, Cleveland's wrestling cop, who was one of the stars of old-time, big-time wrestling during the early years of the 20th century, and also a Cleveland policeman. The author reconstructs the life of a wrestler and the wrestling world in which he lived, by examining and reproducing information gleaned from Charley's scrapbook clippings, newspaper archives, family records, and memories.
