Pros: the guide does the job very well providing a good orientation.
Cons: a lot of links (in the Kindle version) work only when you have internet connection.

Don't miss Pulau Ubin!

Take the advice- go to the small island up North real early on a weekday when not many tourists are around- super peaceful!
