End of Season 1

Thank you to all the guests and others who made the show's first season a success. We're taking the summer off as I learn how to run a radio station. You'll probably hear from me from time to time though.

We'll be back in the fall, and we'll have a new co-host, since our Mike McIntosh is heading over to KUTV-2. We have a few people interested in the position and we'll see who we get in a few months.

Thanks again, and have a great summer.

On this page I list previous episodes of the show. The link takes you to a saved video format file on the website www.veoh.com. When you upload a file, you select a category that it fits in. The best fit for the show is News.

I checked my account this morning to find that the episode that I uploaded late last night, which I hadn't even linked the The Informer webpage yet, already had 51 hits.

Apparently if you accidentally file an upload under "Sexy" you are a lot more likely to get hits on the site.

What does this say about most people that use this site?

Ryan Jessen and the Amercian Cancer Society

It was a great show this week. I enjoyed getting to talk to Ryan again about Juan Melendez and the death penalty. You've probably seen him around campus (if you are on campus) this week talking about Amnesty International and Human Rights week. I'm sure we'll have him on again next fall.

There was a slight delay in getting this weeks episode onto the website, but you can now hear our interview with Billy Rutter.

Next week is spring break. As long as we can get into the building, we will be airing our Death Penalty show from January.

March 16th- We will welcome back Ryan Jessen (finally... after previously failed attempts) to continue talking about the death penalty and Juan Melendez.

We will also be joined by Angela Gerrard of the American Cancer Society. Chances are someone close to you has been affected by cancer. This is a show you don't want to miss.

March 23rd- Adrienne Gillespie will be back to talk about Women's History Month.

I have to say... it's pretty cool to interview your own brother on the radio. Major Ryan J. Addams joined me to talk about effective leadership as he has learned in the US Air Force, and how the same principles apply to leading in any career. I don't think Mom every thought that her boys would be on the radio together one day.

Also joining us was Adrienne Gillespie to talk a bit about Black History month. She'll be back in March for Women's History Month.

Well... so much for our February 9th show.

Apparently you can't broadcast when your antenna is frozen. Who knew?

Our planned guests have rescheduled. You can hear about Black History month from Adrienne Gillespie on February 23rd, and hear more from Ryan Jessen about the Death Penalty and Juan Melendez in March.

February 16th is a holiday, which means rerun #2. We're thinking we'll re-air the first Death Penalty show.

Somehow, sometime, I'm sure we'll manage to talk about the bailout bill and how you will have the privilege of paying higher taxes.

The Death Penalty episode has now been uploaded. We will have Ryan Jessen back on the show in the future to talk more about the case of Juan Melendez. This time, I'll remember my notes. Apparently them help when you want to talk about something that you aren't intimately familiar with.
